Do you play Tamil and Sinhalese music as well as English?
Yes, it's a genuine specialty, not an add-on. English pop, R&B, dance and hip-hop; Tamil sets spanning A.R. Rahman classics to high-energy Kuthu; and Sinhalese Baila and Papare in the tradition of the Gypsies, all balanced to suit your families and guest list.
Do you play current chart hits and new releases, or only classics?
The core of every set is golden-era floor-fillers across English, Tamil and Sinhalese, tracks curated over fifteen-plus years because they're proven to fill a dance floor. If there's a current hit or a specific new release you'd like included, just flag it during your planning call and it's added to your set.
Do you MC and make announcements, or just play music?
Both. Bridal party entries, speeches, cake cutting, first dance and other key moments are MC'd clearly, alongside a continuously run music set.
How far in advance should we book?
As soon as you have a confirmed date and venue. Only one event is booked per date, and popular Sydney wedding dates are often locked in more than a year ahead.
What areas do you travel to?
Based in Sydney, with travel across Australia available for the right event. Mention your venue location when you enquire and it'll be confirmed quickly.
What's the booking process and deposit?
A 25% booking fee secures your date exclusively. The remaining 75% is due approximately two months before the event. A short written agreement covers the full details.
What equipment do you bring?
Professional JBL and Harman Kardon sound, Pioneer and Yamaha mixing gear, AKG microphones for announcements, and American DJ lighting, all set up and tested well ahead of the event.
Can guests request songs on the night?
Yes, guest requests are welcome alongside the must-play and do-not-play list agreed with you beforehand.
Do you do engagement parties and milestone birthdays too?
Yes. Weddings and engagements are the main focus, alongside significant birthdays, anniversaries and corporate events for the same elegant, 30-plus crowd.
Do you play at clubs or house parties?
No, the focus is exclusively on weddings, engagements and upscale milestone celebrations for an adult crowd, not club nights or house parties.
How long do you play for?
It depends on your venue and run sheet. Reception timing is confirmed with you directly when you enquire, so the hours match your actual day.
How much does a wedding DJ cost in Sydney?

What happens if we need to reschedule our date?
Get in touch as early as possible. Since only one event is booked per date, rescheduling depends on availability on the new date. The sooner it's raised, the more options there are.
